Helping Our Community
Post Traumatic Art Foundation:
In 2021, Clínica Verde partnered with the non-profit organization Post Traumatic Art Foundation who support Puerto Rican veteran’s and civilians with mental health conditions by providing social activities where they can express their emotions related to their trauma through art and music. Clínica Verde works in partnership with the organization by providing monetary donations, volunteers during community events, and educational resources about the benefits of medical cannabis for veteran’s and civilians going through PTSD. We also offer all veteran’s a 20% discount on their purchase and we are the only dispensary on the island that provides a 10% discount to immediate family who are registered as medical cannabis patients (spouse, registered guardian, and son/daughter above the age of 21). El Foster Club:
In fall 2021, Clínica Verde kicked off a partnership with El Foster Club a local non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and finding foster care for abandoned, abused, and stray dogs and cats in Puerto Rico. So far, El Foster Club has saved over 2,000 stray dogs and cats.
We launched our partnership on August, 26, 2021 for International Dog Day with a 4-day donation drive across all of our dispensaries. Clínica Verde matched the total amount of money collected and we were able to donate over $500. We also hosted a special patient drive where some of the proceeds of the sales of each new patient were donated to the organization.

In summer 2021, Clínica Verde we partnered with the True Self Foundation, a local Puerto Rican organization that helps the LGBTQ+ community through advocating for equal rights and provides financial support to those members of the community who want to get a higher education or obtain a gender reassignment surgery. We launched a limited edition cannabis vaporizer oil named PROUD in honor of PRIDE month and $3.00 of the sale of each PROUD oil was donated to the foundation. Overall we were able to donate $2,778 to the foundation!
During the months of June, July and August we shared across our social channels different educational content around issues that surround the LGBTQ+ community and the correct terminology to use in everyday vocabulary to foster an environment of acceptance and love. We are committed to continue working with the True Self Foundation through different initiatives that benefit the LGBTQ+ Puerto Rican community.
